Shopping - Christmas Gift Ideas

Stumped for Christmas gift ideas? Trying to find an original gift for the woman who already owns everything? Don't have a lot of cash? Relax, many Canadian men like you suffer with this very problem. Thankfully, there are solutions.

A. 'I don't have a lot of money.'
Download some mp3s and burn her a CD. You can even create your own design for the cover. Your lady will appreciate your thoughtfulness and hopefully she won't notice you're a cheap bastard.

A quick and easy route to take is http://www.allofmp3.com. It does cost a minimum of $5, but you can charge it to a credit card. You will be able to download all of the songs for the album you're making a have enough creds left over to download whatever the hell you want. Bonus!

Don't know what songs to download? Well, if you don't know what kind of music your significant other likes then you better ask her. If you're looking for some rockin' Christmas music then take a gander at the list of cool tunes I have compiled below.

  1. A Winter's Tale - Queen
  2. Peace On Earth - David Bowie & Bing Crosby
  3. Christmas Time Is Here - Chicago
  4. Happy Xmas (War Is Over) - California Guitar Trio
  5. Please Come Home For Christmas - The Eagles
  6. Merry Christmas Baby - Elvis Presley
  7. The Man With All The Toys - The Beach Boys
  8. Father Christmas - The Kinks
  9. White Christmas - Otis Redding
  10. Backdoor Santa - B.B. King
  11. Christmas With The Devil - Spinal Tap
  12. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town - Neil Diamond
If you don't have the ability to print a quality CD cover, etc. then go to http://www.cafepress.com. They will print your design directly on your CD and print out a cover for you. Of course, this will cost you. If you get the CD printed with the jacket and CD sleeve, it will cost US$8.99.

B. 'I need a unique gift.'
One of the best ideas I've seen around lately is this thing called lifeExperiences (http://www.shoppersdrugmart.ca/lifeexperiences/index.html). Unfortunately, the program is only available in Southern Ontario and British Columbia at the moment. When you arrive at the site, your best bet is probably the Romance section. The packages available vary in price, but are an average of about $150. They include unique experiences that your lady is sure to love, even if you are a prick.

C. 'I don't have time to look for a gift.'
Most dudes don't have the patience or the time to stroll through the mall during Christmas. It's usually pretty aggravating. I recommend checking out https://www.uncommonlygifted.com, a Canadian store that has quite a few cool, unique gifts. Most things ship in 2-3 days depending where you are in the country. Another cool site to check out is http://www.surprise.com. The gifts available through the site are broken down into categories which will make it easy for you to find a good gift.

These are just a few suggestions I could come up with. There's probably a lot better ideas you can come up with. Well, maybe not. If that were the case, why would you be reading this?
